Poverty Shout Out is bringing awareness about those who live in poverty around the world. Organized by the Democracy Shout Out Committee, which was formed by TWU's Department of History and Government as part of Constitution Day in 2010, Poverty Shout Out is a chance to give students and other members of the community a safe forum to voice their opinions on a variety of issues that relate to the campus, the community, the country, and the world.

The Democracy Shout Out committee has been sponsored by TWU's Department of History and Government, Civic Agency Initiative, College of Arts and Sciences, and Commuter Services.
TWU is committed to tolerance, respect for all community members, and civility in public discourse that fosters an educational environment free from intimidation and harassment.
In this spirit, we believe in creating opportunities for students to have a safe forum to voice honest opinions. Your privacy is extraordinarily important to this project. Therefore, we do not collect any personally identifying information about you on this website.
